| very useful indeed if you broadcast to a shoutcast server.. ie, be a dj and take requests.. makes the organisation of the playlist effortless..

| Just excellent. One of my most-used plugins. If you have a large music collection then you need this! :) |

| I couldn't get it to work. I couldn't drag and drop anything into the playlist, the files would never appear there. |

deusdiabolus, you need to drag the fles from the playlist. Too bad you can't put this in the skinned window. |

| I came upon this program in PC World Mag with the thought that "oh another player". This was the first plug-in I installed and "wow". Now I'm hooked very cool hope it's the first plug-in you install! |

| It always crashes when I try to add a ton of tracks at once, but other then that its pretty good. Its too bad they didnt just build this feature into qcd as an option when using shuffle play. |

| I've seen some issues with this in the tray, but I think 1.3 got rid of all those. Great plug-in. |

| Great work, Tokelil! Only beef: it won't sit on top of my file manager, so I have to reduce the manager window for drag & drop. Excellent tool if you want to preview new tracks before committing them to your playlist. |

| There is no Queue-Playlist window? What if I want to remove something from the Queue because I accidently added it? Drag and Drop? Drag it from my playlist to where? There is no window with the Queue list. |

| I registered just to rate this one... It works flawlessly, is simple and intuitive, and is a MUST to me as I like to create lists on the fly. Huh, why 99 ? Coze it does not disappear when used in conjonction with Alpha 2.50 ... or maybe I should rate Alpha 2.50 down.... |

| Is there a way you can add a visual indicator in the main playlist to alert us of the songs that are queued - maybe in a different colour. Also, is there a way to clear the queue and start over?
One small gripe - when i close the queueit window, it also hides QCD and i have to pick the player up from the taskbar. Having drag and drop will also be nice. |

| I use QCDQueueIT 1.4.0 all the time now.
Fixing the following quirks would make this probably the most useful QCD plugin ever:
1. Sometimes (on certain computers) Drag and Drop from the main playlist window does not work at all.
2. I would love to be able to right-click QCD QueueIt's window and click 'Make Playlist...' so that I don't have to re-select my favorite songs every time my wife restarts QCD.
3. Dragging files around inside QueueIt window is painful if the list of files in QueueIt is large. ie. if there is a scroll bar on QueueIt's window.
4. If I minimize the main QCD window with the QueueIt open the QueueIt window stays open. Then if I want to restore the main QCD window, I cannot simply click the taskbar icon, I have to right-click the taskbar icon and select 'Restore' to have the main QCD window come back up. Interestingly enough if I have the qcd 'Preferences' window open, I can minimize and restore QCD main window all day long without issue.... go figure.
5. The QueueIt window should automatically show up the first time the user installs the plug-in since the average user is not savvy enough to right-click the QCD main window, click 'Plug-ins' and then click 'Show Queue List'. I would say the entire reason to install this plug-in is solely for its list of what is going to play next.
Overall - excellent job - I just wish a bit of polish could be put on it.
I'd like to see the source code since I'm a programmer... |

The Queue-playlist window isn't shown at startup as default. Right click QCD -> Plug-ins -> Show Queuelist to show the list.
You can change the behaviour under the configuration dialog for QueueIt.
Any questions, feel free to email me at: toke 'at' noer.it. (Replace the 'at' with @) or sent me a PM in the forum.
@MaxVernon: Thanks for the comments. Im not gonna update QueueIt with the current code source and Im not gonna release the code for it. It's a mess and I wrote it a long time ago. I have started to do a rewrite though, but it will only run with the new QMP versions. |
